Now that winter is here and border restrictions worldwide are loosening up, more and more Canadians are eager to travel.
There are still lots of questions to be answered before jet setting, weaving through different countries COVID regulations or entry requirements isn’t always easy.
These are problems seem minor when comparing them to the challenges of 2020.
Lisa Nicholson is owner of Travel Your Bucket List, says she’s happy to have travel back after a difficult time for the industry.
She notes that the last year has not been easy for the industry.
Nicholson adds that it’s important to be prepared if you decide to travel, she notes some things you can do to ensure your trip goes well.
P-C-R tests are still required for re-entry to Canada, but that will change on November 30th.
On Friday the government of Canada announced fully vaccinated Canadians returning home from trips less than 72 hours won’t need a test upon re-entry.
Nicholson adds you still need them for longer trips.
P-C-R tests come at the traveler’s expense.
