Leduc, Alta. –Road conditions on the QEII Highway in the Leduc area have improved. Leduc RCMP have lifted the towing advisory for the QEII Highway from the Edmonton city limits to the Highway 13 overpass, that had been issued at 7 p.m.
Leduc RCMP are asking motorists to continue to exercise caution and adjust their driving to current winter road conditions.

Leduc, Alberta –On March 3rd, 2022, at 5:18 p.m., Leduc RCMP received a report of a three vehicle collision on the QEII Highway in the southbound lane north of the 50 avenue exit.
Leduc RCMP attended along with emergency medical services who assisted some individuals who were injured. Initial investigation indicates an SUV and two pick up trucks were involved. No further details are available at this time.
At 5:39 p.m., Leduc RCMP received another report of a collision involving seven vehicles in the southbound lanes on the QEII Highway near the 50 avenue exit. Further details of this collision are not available at this time.
Leduc RCMP are issuing a towing advisory for the QEII Highway 2 from the Edmonton city limits to the Highway 13 overpass due to poor road conditions and poor visibility.
An update will be provided when the tow advisory has been lifted.
