Vreys also had an even strength goal in the loss, while Noah Hackett had the other tally for Olds. On Tuesday, Hackett was named the AJHL’s Player of the Week. Between October 4th and the 10th, the 19 year old from Ponoka racked up a total of 2 goals and 4 assists in 4 games. Atkinson is excited to have both Hackett and defenceman Josh Zinger recognized by the league in back to back weeks.
The AJHL’s Olds Grizzlys will take on Canada’s National Women’s Team at 7pm on October 29th at the SportsComplex.
