Last week via social media, the Birds announced they will be back for the upcoming senior men’s hockey season.
Innisfail Eagles General Manager Ryan Dodd breaks down what they have planned for 2021-2022.
The Birds had been poised to join the Ranchland League last year but the season wound up being cancelled due to the pandemic.
While the Eagles are a senior men’s triple ‘A’ hockey team, Dodd says the five other squads in the Ranchland Hockey League are double ‘A’.
Nanton, Lethbridge, Siksika, Fort MacLeod and Kainai round out the league. Innisfail will start the RHL season on the October 15th weekend.
