The Arena Director for the Didsbury Fair & Rodeo is excited to see people come back, be able to do something and get back to a little bit of normal.
Following a year off due to the pandemic, Vair Whitlow knows there is still caution to be taken and they will certainly do that, however, it will be nice to let people come out to the Didsbury Exhibition Grounds and have a good time. He thanks all of the volunteers who helped them get ready to welcome the community back.
He says the Fair & Rodeo will include plenty of family fun.
Rodeo fans can check out the Foothills Cowboy Association performances on Friday evening at 6 and on Saturday afternoon 1 o’clock.
Whitlow adds, Sunday includes the Clifford Scott Tractor Pull and a Gymkhana. He says the Gymkhana is for kids who don’t enter rodeos but want to come out and have some fun with events like pole bending and barrel racing.
Visit the didsburyagsociety.org website or their Facebook page for more details.
Tickets cost $10 dollars and they will be available at the gate. Kids under the age of 6 get in to the Didsbury Exhibition Grounds for free.
96.5 CKFM spoke with Vair Whitlow on Monday, August 16th.
