Innisfail, Alberta – Innisfail RCMP would like to remind the public that they will be hosting their Annual Charity Checkstop on Saturday, December 11th between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The location of this year’s Charity Check-stop will be the same as previous years so you can’t miss it. RCMP members, some volunteers, as well as lots of flashing red and blue lights will be set up on 50th Street between 48th Avenue and 49th Avenue in Innsifail. Donations will be accepted from traffic that is both eastbound and westbound. Vehicles not wishing to donate may proceed through without any difficulty. Santa & Safety Bear are also excited to meet everyone again this year.
The charitable organizations this year will be the Innisfail Food Bank, Innisfail Christmas Bureau, the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre in Red Deer, and the Innisfail Youth Positive Assets Coalition.
In this season of giving and celebrating let’s provide as much help as we can to those less fortunate. Help donate and make this Christmas season a great one for everyone.
We look forward to seeing you all this Saturday.
Should you have any questions about the Checkstop do not hesitate to contact the Innisfail RCMP or Cst. NELSON at (403) 227-3342. Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you all soon.
