Cochrane, Alta. – On March 24th, 2022, Cochrane RCMP’s Crime Reduction Unit arrested a prolific offender who was found to be in possession of a forged cheque.
The subsequent investigation lead to identifying and charging three offenders for multiple property offences relating to motor vehicle theft, mail theft, and break and enters.
Christopher Clark (37) of no fixed address, was charged with 24 offences including:
· Break and enter x3
· Mail theft x3
· Possession of property obtained by crime x5
· Fraud x3
· Fail to comply with conditions of release order x4
Clark’s whereabouts are currently unknown and warrants have been issued for his arrest.
Christopher Clark is described as:
· 5’9” tall
· 119 lbs
· Brown hair
· Blue eyes
· Light complexion
Shaylene McCauley (23) of Didsbury, Alta., was charged 9 offences including:
· Break and enter x3
· Possession of property obtained by crime x3
· Fail to comply with condition of release order x2
· Mail theft
After a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, McCauley was released from custody and her next Court appearance is June 28, 2022, in Cochrane Provincial Court.
Cory Ryan Davies (45) of Olds, Alta., was charged with 10 offences including:
· Possess break and enter instruments
· Fail to comply with release order (x2)
These matters were dealt with by the court.
