The Mountain View Colts are heading into the upcoming Heritage Junior Hockey League season with a new Head Coach.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Gord Olsen will be stepping back from the Head Coaching duties and Dan Visser has been promoted.
Visser says the Colts have already held their conditioning camp and their try-out camp.
Last season the Colts finished 4th in the Northern Division with a record of 23-11-and-2 before getting knocked out of the playoffs in the first round by Airdrie. Visser discusses his expectations for this year.
He explains his coaching philosophy.
The Colts will play four exhibition games this year starting on September 9th in Didsbury against the Three Hills Thrashers.
Mountain View will then begin the HJHL regular season in Airdrie versus the Thunder on September 23rd in a game that can be heard live on 96.5 CKFM.
