The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference will be running its ‘Make Some Noise For Mental Health’ campaign from October 20th until November 26th.
Hayley Helland, Events and Engagement Supervisor with Broncos Athletics, says during that time all of the student athletes from the Olds College Broncos will be participating.
The theme for this year is Mental Health ‘Rockstars’, according to Helland.
Helland discusses the importance of the ACAC’s ninth annual ‘Make Some Noise For Mental Health’ campaign.

Helland adds, the ‘Make Some Noise for Mental Health’ campaign begins for the Olds College Broncos with this weekend’s rodeo performance at 6:30pm on Saturday (October 21st) at the Brawn Family Arena. Their women’s and men’s soccer games this Sunday at noon and 2pm at Richardson Pioneer Field will also be be part of the campaign.
An Athletes March across the Olds College of Agriculture & Technology campus kicked off the annual initiative on Tuesday, October 17th.
