The Olds & District Chamber of Commerce celebrated the local business community on Thursday, October 19th.
The Olds Royal Canadian Legion was the venue for the annual Small Business Awards Gala.
The Business of the Year award was presented to The Tire Shop and Owner Aaron Laviolette.
He says it is not the first time they have won the award.
The People’s Choice Award went to Chubb’s Eats.
The Community Spirit Award winner in the for profit category is The Bowl 5 Pin 10 Pin House.
The Community Spirit Award winner in the not for profit category is the Kiwanis Club of Olds.
Evergreen Wellness earned the honours as Best New Business.
The Innovation Award belongs to Dream Team Printing.
Keith Klinck from Hildebrand Motors captured the Exceptional Customer Service Award and while he wasn’t able to attend the Gala on Thursday, Ed Hildebrand shared these words about him.
Olds Chamber of Commerce President Doug Rieberger presented The President’s Award to Hildebrand Motors.
Ed says it is fantastic, they really appreciate the award and the recognition, but without their tremendous staff and their really good customers it wouldn’t be possible.
The Youth Employee of the Year is Chelsea Black from Mr. Mikes.
