Three very important games remain in the ACAC women’s hockey regular season for the Olds College Broncos.
With 6 wins through 22 games, Olds College is currently sitting in 5th place and on the outside looking in at the playoffs.
Geordie Carragher, Sports Information Coordinator for the Broncos, says the season included an extended break of almost two month without game action from November 24th to January 20th.
The fifth place Broncos are currently 3 points back of the SAIT Trojans in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference standings. SAIT occupies the fourth and final playoff spot. The Trojans have 8 wins through 21 games this season.
Olds College’s final home game of the ACAC women’s hockey regular season is on Thursday, February 15th at 7pm versus the Trojans.
The Broncos round out the campaign with a trip to Calgary to play SAIT again on Saturday, February 17th.
The regular season finale for OC’s women will be on the road against Red Deer Polytechnic on February 24th.
