The Chair for the Alberta Beef Producers was re-elected at the organization’s annual general meeting last week.
Brodie Haugan says meaningful conversation with producers with boots on the ground drives their industry and the ABP organization. He outlines some of the priorities for ABP in 2024.
Along with his parents and fiancé, Haugan manages a commercial cow-calf herd in the southeast corner of Alberta near Orion. He shares more of the highlights from ABP’s AGM.
Since 1992, Alberta Beef Producers have recognized farms and ranches across the province whose natural resource stewardship practices contribute to the environment and enhance productivity and profitability.
Haugan adds, the deadline for nominations for the 2024 Environmental Stewardship Award is fast approaching.
