The MLA for Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills says a couple of community enhancement grants have been announced this spring that will support local organizations.
Nathan Cooper says these organizations play such an important role in building facilities that the community can utilize.
According to Cooper, it is really exciting to see that the Olds Kiwanis Club received $27,000 dollars for upgrades to Centennial Park, and the Three Hills Elks received close to $90,000 dollars for some playground equipment in Three Hills.
Cooper adds, Community Facility Enhancement Program (CFIP) grants are applied for on a quarterly basis and not-for-profit organizations can apply to the provincial government through the Ministry of Arts & Culture for community enhancement projects.
He says feel free to reach out to his Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills constituency office at 403-556-3132.
